In addition to individual tutoring, Bridges offers the following programs in combination with one-to-one tutoring or in classes:

WRITING VOYAGE

Writing Voyage combines writing and study skills with space exploration. Students seven and older go on an exciting space adventure and write about life on Earth and about their own interests. The instructor, a published writer and Director of Bridges Tutoring, guides students to write about the images and sounds of Earth to an imaginary ET (or space friend) who doesn't know about our planet and the ways we live. The purposes of the course (1) emphasize writing organized paragraphs that express imaginative ideas, (2) develop thinking processes that lead to global awareness and responsible citizenship, (3) give students a boost in writing skills proficiency for tests and essays, and (4) increase self-confidence.
